Apprentice Industrial Mechanic / Millwright Technician

Overview

Wild Rows Pump & Compression Ltd. is a growing oilfield maintenance and sales company looking for a hardworking and motivated 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to join our team in Lloydminster.

This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities to learn, develop your skills, and build a long-term career in the oil and gas industry.

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills and an interest in working with pumps, compressors, dryers, and other oilfield equipment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to learn, works well as part of a team, and is committed to working safely.

What You'll Do

· Assist with the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of pumps, compressors, dryers and related oilfield equipment

· Learn to diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs under the guidance of experienced technicians

· Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections

· Assist with equipment installation, disassembly and assembly

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures

· Develop your mechanical skills through hands-on experience and on-the-job training

Who We're Looking For

· 1st or 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

· Candidates who have completed a Pre-Employment Millwright/Industrial Mechanic program are encouraged to apply

· Apprentices with an Automotive or Heavy-Duty Mechanic background are also encouraged to apply

· Previous oilfield equipment experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate

· Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

· Positive attitude and dependable work ethic

· Takes pride in quality workmanship

· Safety-minded and self-motivated

· Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Requirements

The following certifications and documentation are required upon employment:

· H2S

· First Aid

· TDG/WHMIS

· Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence

· Current Driver's Abstract

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
