Duties

• Assist senior technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.

• Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and fluid checks.

• Support the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components following manufacturer specifications.

• Use technical diagrams and schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Participate in welding and other fabrication tasks as needed to support repairs or modifications.

• Handle heavy lifting safely when moving parts or equipment around the shop.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is preferred but not required; a strong interest in automotive technology is essential.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematics.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair procedures.

• Willingness to learn welding techniques and assist with assembly tasks.

• Good customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.

• High school diploma or equivalent; ongoing education in automotive technology is a plus.
